Bias impacts every workplace, and how we respond to it shapes the culture and decisions within. Today, our colleague Athina is running an internal workshop on understanding bias, the same training we offer to organisations across the UK.

By practising what we preach, we’re helping build a more inclusive workplace from the inside out and providing tools to others to do the same. 🙌

WISE Members have access to this training. Interested in learning more? Drop us a message!

It’s National Inclusion Week, and we’re proud to be part of the movement for more inclusive workplaces for women in STEM. ✨

At WISE, we believe that inclusion means more than a seat at the table. It’s about:

-representation that drives innovation
-equity that supports every woman’s journey
-a culture where everyone can thrive

This week, we’re spotlighting how inclusion really works and what YOU can do to make a difference.

Follow along, join the conversation, and let’s build a more inclusive future together.

It’s GCSE results day 2025! Congratulations to everyone who has received their exam results today, we hope it makes you excited for bright futures ahead.

A decrease in the overall population of 16-year-olds has meant a decrease in the number of young people participating in STEM GCSE subjects in 2025. Girls continue to make up 47.8% of STEM GCSE entries, giving us near gender parity, a major achievement for our sector and the diversity and success of its future workforce!

Whether through A Levels, college, or vocational routes, we need to intervene, inspire, and support young people to carry on studying STEM. It is hands-on, impactful, and vital to society’s future.
