Caring For Life

Last week, the pigs arrived! We have been eagerly waiting their arrival and are thrilled they have arrived safely and healthily. Please pray for the Agri team as they welcome the pigs and help beneficiaries learn how to care for a new animal. We pray the pigs settle in well and become a wonderful therapeutic addition to the Agri Project.

It is a joy to see the creativity that shines through our Artshop Project. One beneficiary has been working on a beautiful three-dimensional Hundred Acre Wood, inspired by maps and crafted from recycled cardboard. We pray that everyone who takes part feels celebrated and valued, and sees the creativity of God reflected in their own gifts.

We are praying for our Head Chef, Lewis, today and are grateful for the heart, skill, and dedication. Please pray that God would give him wisdom, patience, and strength as he balances the many demands of cooking, leading, planning and prioritising. Please also pray for the team for endurance and safety as it gets very busy, and that he and the team would stay focused and positive.

Caring For Life’s verse for this coming week comes from Matthew 11 v 28.

Today is our Staff Fun Day, so the farm will be closed. Please pray for us as we spend time together as a team. We pray that the day would be a blessing, filled with fun, laughter, and meaningful connections with one another.

We’re so thankful for our Caring For Life support groups across the country and beyond! These groups meet regularly to watch CFL updates, pray for our work, and fundraise for us in their local communities. Some meet in homes, some in churches, and one even meets on Zoom!

We want to say a HUGE thank you to so many of you who have hosted afternoon teas and coffee mornings over the past few weeks, raising vital funds for Caring For Life. We’re so grateful to everyone who organised, attended, and supported through prayer and giving. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated.

We have another Bible Study today! Please pray that those who have recently joined the farm would have the opportunity to come along, hear God’s Word, and know His heart for them. Please also pray for the staff leading the study, that they would feel encouraged and guided as they share what they have prepared.

Sheep shearing has already begun, we’re thankful to have had some good weather over the last few weeks to get the sheep ready from the summer months, protecting them from fly strike and overheating. Please pray for the Agri team as they continue their farm jobs and preparations moving into the new season.

This week is , and at Caring For Life we seek to be a place for those in our community who are struggling with the effects of loneliness, being there to offer practical help or a physical presence and ultimately for God to reveal His love through us, that they might know the fullness of life and His redeeming love for them. Please partner with us in prayer in this vital work.
