Work Experience Opportunity (Calderdale)

At Jupiter Construction, we’re always looking for ways to support the next generation entering our industry.

We currently have an opportunity for a small number of Calderdale-based young people to attend one of our live project sites for a short work experience placement during school holiday.

This will provide an opportunity to see first-hand how a construction project operates, including:

• How a site is managed day-to-day

• The roles involved in delivering a project

• Health & safety and planning processes

• What happens behind the scenes from pre-construction through to completion

Construction offers a wide range of careers that many people simply never get the chance to see up close. We’re keen to help change that by opening our doors and giving young people real exposure to the industry.

We are happy to announce that we have been awarded the refurbishment project at 37 Park Row, Nottingham.

This exciting scheme involves a comprehensive CAT A and CAT B refurbishment, transforming the building to provide high-quality, modern workspace and amenity facilities.

The works include:
🔹 CAT A refurbishment of the 1st and 2nd floors
🔹 CAT B fit-out of one office floor, creating a ready-to-occupy workspace
🔹 Complete remodelling of the reception and main entrance, including a new business lounge and kitchenette
🔹 Refurbishment of toilet facilities from Ground Floor to 4th Floor
🔹 Upgrades to stairs and lobby areas throughout the building

We are looking forward to working closely with the project team to deliver a high-quality refurbishment that will enhance the occupier experience and bring new life to this prominent Nottingham city centre building.

Project Update – Bensham 🔨

Great progress being made on our Bensham project, with the roof cladding now being installed.

This marks another key milestone on the programme as the building envelope continues to take shape, bringing us one step closer to achieving a weather-tight structure.

A big thank you to everyone on site for their continued hard work and collaboration in keeping the project moving forward safely and efficiently.

At Jupiter Construction, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health.

As part of our social value commitment, our Recruitment and Support Manager, Victoria Mattison, recently visited our Ravenscliffe project to speak with site teams about the importance of mental wellbeing, checking in on one another, and creating an environment where people feel comfortable talking about how they are feeling.

Mental health is something that affects us all at different points in our lives. By encouraging open conversations, supporting those around us, and reminding people that they do not have to face challenges alone, we can help break down stigma and build stronger, healthier workplaces.

Project Update at Ravescliffe High School 🚧

Great progress being made on site as we reach another key milestone with the completion of the block and beam flooring for the new extension.
It’s always rewarding to see the structure starting to take shape as the project moves forward.

🚧 New Project Announcement – Oldham College 🚧

We’re delighted to announce that Jupiter Construction has been appointed to deliver a new modular Motor Vehicle Workshop extension at Oldham College.

The project will create a modern new learning environment to support students with practical, industry-focused training and future career development.

We look forward to starting works on site and sharing progress updates along the way.
