And here we are in September! We are ready for a strong finish to 2024. 💪

What a line up! This year’s Women in Tech conference featured an all-star line up of three phenomenal women in tech; Tolu Osinubi, Amy Lynch and Nisha Haté who gave us the benefit of their lived experience and expertise.

The event looked at women in tech through an intersectional lens, focussing on neurodiversity and social mobility in our sector.

Expertly hosted by Dom and Chloe as usual, this was one of our best-received events with truly sparkling feedback received and plenty of lessons learnt.

Well done to the winners of our quarterly away day incentive! Mahanoor and Sean were Q1’s top performers, and enjoyed a day at Croft Circuit Race Track in Darlington with our MD Jon Sanderson. A lot of fast fun was had. Well done both!

May was a wholesome month at Corecom; a team dog walk for Maisie, Rocky, and Freddie, some goslings on the canal, swans and their eggs in Roundhay Park, and a bit of sunshine!

Round 2! Our second Leaders Lab event of this week was in awesome Amsterdam with our Dutch based network, on the topic of AI implementation.

Our innovative speakers are leaders in their fields and really inspired the room, bringing plenty of energy and the longest Q&A session we’ve ever had!

Thank you to Noha Shafik, Amgad Muhammed and Roy Lenders for their time and expertise, and all those who attended and made it such a great night!

This week saw the launch of re-branded Leaders Lab event series, with ‘Leaders Lab: Dev’ in Leeds. Huge thanks to Simon Bee of Autodesk who shared his insights and work in the realm of digital twins.

Well done to Jack West who hosted his first event and the whole Dev team for assembling a great crowd.

We’re taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge for our incredible charity partner; Candlelighters Trust.

We’ll be aiming to complete Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough in under 12 hours.

Candlelighters support families facing children's cancer in Yorkshire, getting involved in all sorts of different projects to help ordinary families who are facing extraordinary circumstances.

Throwback to a brilliant event for - Women Empowered through Coaching and Networking!

The panel were incredible, all so inspiring and some excellent topics covered with real experiences of being a woman at work. We have already interviewed Emma from the BBC for the podcast.

We are really excited to be working with in the next few months on some exciting projects so watch this space.

Following on from WITBoss last week, we wanted to shine a light on two organisations supporting young women and women on their path to leadership.

Getaway Girls aims to get girls and young women empowering and supporting each other, build their confidence and resilience and develop their skills in a positive, supportive, and cooperative environment.

is led by Leeds Beckett University and aims to enhance the resilience and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by building women's leadership skills, capabilities, and opportunities in the Leeds City Region.

We were delighted to have provided a platform for both organisations at WITBoss, and we will continue to support their missions.
