Rawdon In Bloom

Thank you to Rawdon In Bloom for making the front of our school look so beautiful.

We’ve tidied up the memorial on Littlemoor. (Opposite )
The council are doing very minimal mowing and no edging, as we all know. So keeping the surrounding area of our locations tidy is getting a little harder 💪🏼

We’re currently looking into cost effective, sustainable mulching options for the beds, which will surpress the w**d growth and lock in moisture during the hotter weather! 🌹

The team have been hard at work over the last few weeks,
Covering most our sites in Rawdon.

Last year we transformed this space, with help from the neighbours.
You might remember us mentioning that unfortunately the wall collapsed onto the planting area we had created, at the end of the year.
We rescued the plants we could, until the work was complete.
Today, the team were hard at work recreating the bed and the planting. A huge thank you to the residents for the cold drinks, they were appreciated more than ever today 🥵☀️
