Good progress has been made this month at Chatsworth House Dental Clinic in Harrogate.
On the extension, the new staircase is complete, and work is now underway on the flat roof and canopy extension. At ground floor, the concrete has now been poured, which means the internal spaces are really starting to take shape.
The steelwork is also now in place for the large glazed corner windows, which will make a big impact on the finished space and bring plenty of natural light into the new reception area.
This one is moving on really well now, and it’s great to see the extension starting to feel like part of the building.

Bigger isn’t always better, and this extension is proof. A small project with some excellent details, that resulted in one of the best internal spaces we have seen.
A modest extension, a few walls removed, and a roof lantern added, and this home was completely transformed.
The result? A bright, open-plan living space that works harder, feels bigger, and brings much more natural light into the heart of the home.
Proof that thoughtful design and quality building can make a big impact, whatever the scale.
Our sustainable refurb project at Oak Road in North Leeds is moving on nicely.
The main roof is now finished where the new conservation rooflights are sitting flush with the slate, which looks really smart. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference, and is just one many detailed elements on this project.
Inside, there’s been loads happening too. We’ve been laying h**p insulation in the floors - a very sustainable and breathable solution, and lot of the ductwork for the new MVHR system is now in too. Both are part of the wider sustainable approach on this project, and it’s great to see those elements starting to come together properly now.
It was a big day last week at one of our projects in North Leeds, as the ground floor had just had the screed poured - a key milestone that now sets things up nicely for second fix to begin downstairs.
Alongside the screed, the side extension is now complete externally, with the brickwork finished and the roof in place, complete with Velux rooflights.
In the next few weeks we will be reaching the stage in the project where internal spaces begin to feel more like a home, and less like a building site.

We have been lucky enough to work on many new build homes over the years, but this new build home in Leeds is certainly one of the highlights.
Built on a filled-in railway embankment, the project required piled foundations to provide the stability needed for the site conditions. From the outset, it was a build that demanded careful planning, technical understanding and attention to detail.
The exterior combines natural stone walls, a slate roof and aluminium windows, creating a timeless but modern home. A bespoke oak truss detail, crafted on site, adds character to the upper-floor balcony and gives the home a distinctive feature.
Internally, the property had high end finishes throughout. We installed tiled floors, a fitted kitchen and bathrooms, and all decorative finishes, resulting in a well-appointed, carefully constructed home.

Grove Villas is a great example of the kind of thoughtful, high-quality work we have been delivering for years.
Completed in 2015, the project involved the careful conversion of a former office building into 16 apartments, ranging from one to three bedrooms.
Set within a conservation area, the building required a sensitive approach, balancing the character of the existing architecture with the practical needs of modern residential living. It was a challenging, but very rewarding project.
Original timber windows were renovated, the feature staircase at the heart of the building was carefully restored, and the external areas were fully landscaped to enhance the setting and provide outdoor amenity space for residents.
Nearly a decade on, Grove Villas remains a strong example of how experience, craftsmanship and attention to detail can bring new life to existing buildings.
Since our last visit, the new rear and side extension has been built on our remodel, retrofit and extension project on a home in North Leeds.
The roof is now being fitted on the extension, and inside the new floor to the extension is being prepared ready for the concrete pour, which will be a big step in finalising the build, which is already complete on the upper floors.
A really exciting point in the project and with progress on all fronts, this is another site that will look vastly different by the time we’re back in a few weeks.
In this weeks site update, there’s been some major progress on the roof at an incredible project of ours on a home in North Leeds.
The new roof is nearly ready for tiling, the dormer is up, and the conservation solar panels are in place ready to sit neatly within the new slate tiling.
Inside, the roof has been insulated, the basement has been fully dug out and the new concrete floor poured, and on the upper floors the new subfloors are going down with insulation being laid throughout.
This project really will be incredible once complete. A modern home in a traditional exterior, and we look forward to the next video update in a few weeks time.
In this month’s site update, the new stonework at our Harrogate dental surgery project is nearly complete, and it’s looking excellent - if we say so ourselves.
Preparations are now underway for the new staircase entrance from ground floor level, which will lead up into the new reception area. It’s a really important stage in the build, and it is becoming clear how this extension will change the overall layout and function of the clinic.
Another one that’s moving quickly now, and by our next update video it should look completely different again.
We’re now into the final stretch of this full home transformation. With the majority of the internal works on the upper floors now complete, the extension is now fully underway and making a real impact.
The steelwork is all installed, blockwork is nearly complete, and the build is almost ready for the roof structure to begin.
Once finished, this extension will completely open up the ground floor layout and act as the final piece of the puzzle in what has been a major renovation and upgrade of the home.
With the scaffolding now down, the new roof and full-width dormer have already transformed the appearance of the property.
The extension will be the finishing touch, tying the whole project together and creating a home that feels completely reimagined for modern family living.
