Today is the shop’s 2nd birthday! Who’d have thought after trading our first fair in 2021, that we’d be here, running our own little store.

We couldn’t have done it without the support of our families, friends, fellow traders and customers, so we just wanted to take a moment to say thank you!

As well as living off rice and whisky, I’ve managed to pick up some amazing bits which we’ll make available in a limited drop soon 👀

Today is International Women’s Day - a day to recognise and celebrate all women and to continue the fight for equality, freedom and women’s rights across the world.

I am inspired by strong women in my life, particularly my beautiful, incredible mam.

This IWD I am thinking of the strength and resilience of women and girls in Palestine, Iran, Sudan and Afghanistan as well as all countries affected by humanitarian crisis, genocide and conflict where women face sexual violence as a weapon and whose rights are forcibly removed from them.

It’s International Day of Floral Design so what better way to celebrate than to show off our vintage botanical flower prints!

The original specimens in these pages were collected and illustrated in the 1600’s! We were recently lucky enough to see the original book in the British Library.

There’s a selection of these on our website and plenty to browse at our store too! 🌷

All dug from old landfill in Yorkshire and beyond they date from the 1880’s to the 1920’s.

💐 WEDDING RENTAL 💐

We recently had a customer ask about renting some of our Victorian stoneware bottles for her wedding and we were happy to accommodate! We sourced 40 of these furniture polish bottles which work really well for single stem and dried flower decoration.

For our friend’s wedding last week at we provided stoneware for the tables with an array of beautiful dried flowers sourced from our lovely neighbour in 🥀
