Three results from the bank holiday weekend!

On Saturday, the Men's team beat Rugby Town 1-2, thanks to a thumping header from Jack Duggan and Talib Copeland's second half strike. Ethan Green was awarded player of the match there.

A narrow loss for the Women's team Sunday, going down 1-0 to Port Vale. A dogged defensive display could have earned them a point but deadlock was broken by an unfortunate og. Amber Aslam was named player of the match.

The Men then made it 6 from 6 today beating Lutterworth 2-0. Connor Mort's penalty and Wayne Muyabi scored his first for the club.

Pay on the gate available for this one; unlike next Saturday's FA Cup tie, this is the first warning that the Worcester City game will be pre-purchased ticket only!

Before we get to FA Cup excitement, we have plenty of football this weekend.

Two games for the Men. They're away at Rugby Town tomorrow, before a bank holiday Monday home match against Lutterworth Town. Both are 3pm kick offs!

The Women travel away to Port Vale on Sunday afternoon, 2pm kick off for that.

Cup draws galore this week!

Birmingham County FA have published their cup draws.

Our Women's side will face Aston Villa away in the Challenge Cup first round.

Our Men's side play Coton Green at home in the Senior Challenge Cup.

Both ties will be played on or around the weekend of 24th/25th October.

A shout out and congratulations to Libby Brown who made her competitive debut for our Women's First Team in their first game of the season, becoming the 14th player to step out of our junior section and into the first team. Its always great to see young players joining the senior teams and even better when they have come through our youth sections. Libby was a member of the Phoenix side who finished their Knowle journey in the summer, and she has trained with the adult side since the turn of the year, so her debut is a reward for all her hard work. Looking forward to many more appearances to come, Libby! Plus surely not the only Phoenix player who will make the step.

Results from the weekend...!

The FA Cup rolls on again for our Men's First Team after they beat Coleshill Town 0-1 on Saturday afternoon. Another top performance that perhaps should have seen more goals, but Talib Copeland's 5th minute strike sealed it. Watch this space for draw news!

A tough day for our Women's side on Sunday however as they were well beaten away at Shrewsbury Town. 5-0 the final score, with Holly Briggs getting the player of the match award.
