The Yew Tree - Honister Pass - back open after 15 years and we had a wonderful day catching the bus down to Seatoller, a quick drink and ran back to Keswick. Or just catch the bus both ways, have a bite to eat in the beer garden and go for a bit of a wander around the pub, the woods and the fells above. Super friendly staff, great location and ambience, wholesome food including their infamous all day Sunday roast 😊

Chuffed to bits with our latest addition to The Ridgeway. For our ground floor bedroom, it's not just a new King Size oak bed with quality Sealy mattress - it's a Euro King Size oak bed. An extra 10cm on a UK King to take you to a very comfortable 160cm width for a wonderful night's sleep 😃🥰

How beautiful the winter 🌞 can be on a clear day up on the Skiddaw Range overlooking Derwentwater and Keswick. Accessible from the door of The Ridgeway. This was last Thursday 16 January. 😊

Happy New Year - after the rain and wind, this is how calm and beautiful Derwentwater and the fells can be. A wonderful walk up to Walla Crag, along to Ashness Bridge and back down along Derwentwater. Icy in places but oh so calm. 😊

At last - Monday morning 🌞 - a perfect day for brekkie The Yan at Broadrayne followed by a cycle through Grasmere and up the Langdale valley for a lunchtime pint Lanty Slee's Langdale. All a stone's throw from The Ridgeway 😎🙂

Beautiful and atmospheric all year round. What's more, you can still stop off at Nichol End Marine on the way back to The Ridgeway for an all-time favourite warm chocolate scone or the new cheese and leek 😊
