The weather finally warmed up a bit and the forecast said no rain, so we caught the bus to Seatoller and walked back along the river then the lake , ten miles of beautiful scenery.

After even more rain , the sum came out, and we had a beautiful afternoon, perfect for a swim and then a brew in the garden

On a wet dreary Wednesday it was a lovely surprise to see my beautiful peonies finally starting to bloom . Every cloud has a silver lining, every day has a positive you just need to find it

So the rain is back , but it rarely rains nonstop all day , and the sun came out for a bit this afternoon so took Polly down to the Isthmus for a swim , was lucky enough to see a family of geese too

After yesterday walk, and the weather still being kind we decided to take the bus to Grange and do Castle Crag. Shadow had his first bus ride and was as good as gold ! Couldn’t make it to the very top as Great Danes and styles don’t mix but still a fabulous afternoon!

Today was a great day to get out and enjoy some of the amazing scenery around Keswick, so we set off up the railway to walk up to , took a picnic, and enjoyed an ice cream from Luigi’s ice cream van , then took the path down Great wood home . Total about 8 miles , day well spent !

Due to a last minute cancellation we have two rooms available for next weekend, and the weather look amazing!
