Hello there,
Hope you are keeping it all together within your realities.
I might not understand the depth of effects at which the Covid 19 crisis and it's accompanying uncertainties might have brought you.
I do know one thing; its toll on everyone isn't normal as usual.
I GET IT that how you are living through it isn't what you want or planned for looking back to few months ago.
Let's fast forward to months to come, the Predictions are constant and keep evolving on how normalcy resumes.
Jobs and salaries are threatened, school fees payment and schooling dynamics are disrupted, trade shaken or halted, business and economic growth curves with downward trends across specialties globally, increased anxiety and confusion while mitigating poverty strike and financial crisis in households and forestalling company losses and more.
As all these appear as the main cake to savour in this time, they are equally beautified with the special icing of varying colours of increased responsibilities with children being home for longer durations ( on mothers, fathers and carers of children and the aged parents (+/- illhealth). This never ending holidays also translates to more expenses on food, snacks, laundry, online entertainments, increased screen time or screen addiction but comes with good taste of more bonding and family time
Yet, the best bet is to live today and focus on getting solutions for the future unfolding as each day comes.
The ONLY CONTROL you have now is how you TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for the CHOICES you are making through it all.

COPING WITH THE LOCKDOWN DURING THE COVID 19 CRISIS
Hi,
Good morning to you.
How are you feeling today?
Do you feel anxious, unhappy and disconnected with all the things around you?
Crisis period always comes with doses of emotions.
Which can you control?
I believe these few tips would help you cope better:
1. Do not bear the weight of the world on your shoulders. It serves no one. Tune down the noise of excessive tragic news and distractions.
2. Focus on feeling good( Yes, it can be taskingatimes). Just feel the day and continue to observe your emotions all day long.
3. Be more aware to notice all the things around you-people, things and activities you enjoy that brings more joy and happiness.
4. Choose gratitude despite the uncertainties (This too shall pass).
5. Quieten your mind with meditation to feel your inner self/ consciousness.
6. Control the way you see this lockdown- change your perspective (to seeing opportunities and possibilities of achievements during this period) as it does magic to how you feel about it.
7. Engage in new or old activities that fulfils you. Start with small daily steps to build momentum.
8. Protect your mental space as much as you can.
9. Love you endlessly 💯💕
10. Choose Faith over Fear, Hope over Despair, Kindness and Empathy over meanness, Giving within your abilities over selfishness.
What you send forth comes back to you. Choose wisely.

This is all you need for self and others near and far.
Be conscious of the type of news you consume and allow to trigger negative emotions in you.
It is enough that the present times get to blow wind of uncertainties. You have a choice to redirect your focus back to you.
This is the time to PAUSE, , go within and take stock of all you need to achieve a healthy balance for your mind, body, soul and spirit.
Take enough rest to feel calm and relax
Take time to enjoy your hobbies
Travel to the world through the pages of books
Check on loved ones with calls , chats and taking care of the needs
Help others within your abilities and resources without getting overstretched
As we are always a work in progress, take each day a step a time for you by you.
I know the major thing I need now is to reschedule my sleep pattern.

BE PRESENT
As the news and noise become heightened with widespread fear being painted in different shades of colours, the need to panic equally arises. As you ask yourself several questions that beg for answers whilst the rush of hormones still gives you the urge to do or not do things in panic mode -to buy, to hoard, to withdraw, to double efforts or slow down. Whatever applies to your situation, the pressure only increases your exposure to different levels of stress according to your current state of being.
Lots of people would feel the need to roll the dice with evolving current world affairs around Covid 19(the deadly Corona virus strain), the fact remains that this current happenings are unprecedented while predictions remain constant as the world events evolves daily.
The trying times would definitely take its toll on you.
Now is the time to press the PAUSE BUTTON to take DEEP BREATHES.
Before any activity, take deep breathes and let your full focus be directed towards it to LIVE IN THE MOMENT.
It means you are on FLIGHT MODE for any other task or activity different from the one at hand.
Allow yourself to be immersed in the moment as you live through each day irrespective of the activities you engage in. As you wake while in bed, brushing, bathing, walking, cooking,eating,praying, conversations, working activities; you can be in tune with yourself while being present wholly for ONLY that activity.
This is not for multitasking or distraction mode activities with phone or television - BE PRESENT fully with your mind, body and soul.
You can live in the moment.
This is a Mindfulness practice that helps you to BE PRESENT AND BE YOU while being mindful of the task or activity you engage in. This calms you and relaxes your nerves, helps you de-stress as it relieves you from overwhelm and stress around you, improves your level of focus and concentration and more benefits for your overall well-being.
This is one practice that has benefited me to allow me be in the ZONE for me by me(laughs) irrespective of the task or activity. It is also worthy to note you can derail or fall off the lane. It’s okay, you can also get back on track once you put your mind to BE PRESENT in any activity you are doing.
So go back in and begin to BE PRESENT to LIVE IN THE MOMENT in all you do to help you live well and happy in any situation.

Be of You always.
The best way to continue to be in the zone of your and while helping yourself to be conscious of how you feel every moment during this period of uncertainty is to your state of being at intervals with movement.
Just Move!
Leave your desk or other activities to take brisk walk, your body, , and shut down the noise, with deep see yourself whole in your eye.
As overwhelm kicks in while working at your desk, Just move!
Once the chores and expectations from others get to you, Just Move!
To alter your thoughts when the negative chatters kick in, Just Move!
As your environment affects the way you feel, Just Move!
Covid 19 and it's uncertainties are not in charge, You are.
Keep moving as many times as you decide you need it. It's a free choice.
Choose to Just Move.
