After almost 10 years, Infinity Inverness will soon be closing its doors.

When we opened nearly a decade ago, our goal was simple — to create a place where families, friends and groups could come together, have fun and make great memories. Over the years we’ve welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors and have been proud to be part of the Inverness community.

First and foremost, we want to say a huge thank you to our amazing staff, loyal customers, schools and local groups who have supported us over the years. We've welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors and have been proud to be part of the Inverness community. The business simply wouldn't have existed without you.

However, we also feel it's important to be honest about why so many businesses like ours are disappearing across the UK.

Over the last decade the reality of running a business has become increasingly difficult. Taxes have risen, costs increase year after year, and businesses face more and more regulation and red tape — all of which take time and drive up costs further.

Taxes, energy costs, wages, insurance, business rates and supplier prices have all climbed dramatically. Yet at the same time, many businesses are unable to pass those costs on to customers.

In fact, our prices today are the same as when we first opened almost 10 years ago, despite operating costs rising across every part of the business. For many operators, particularly in the leisure and hospitality sectors, the balance has shifted to a point where the risk, investment and pressure involved in running a business simply no longer make sense.

This isn't just our story — it's happening to businesses across the country.

Despite the challenges, we remain incredibly proud of what Infinity Inverness has achieved over the past decade and the memories that have been created here.

To everyone who has visited us, celebrated birthdays here, worked with us, or supported us along the way — thank you.

It has meant more than you know.

For anyone looking to visit us for the last time, our final day will be the 4th of May.
