Called out to a generator with a poor starting issue. Needed a new battery then came back to carry out a full service.

🚨 THIEF CAUGHT ON CCTV 🚨

Thankfully, we’ve got CCTV protecting the whole property!

Customer left keys in agreed safe place only when I went to move the vehicle they weren’t there. Checked with customer just incase they took them home by mistake… which they had not.

CCTV showed customer leaving keys where agreed. Scrolled surveillance to look for movements at that spot.

Here comes Brian retrieving keys and relocating to his own safe place!

Who could be mad for long at that cute face! ‘

Our wee Brian the Brave is 2 today 🐾🖤

Brian came all the way from Romania, where he was rescued as a newborn and hand-reared with so much love by the amazing Melisa at Paws2Rescue.

Now he’s the cuddliest, most loving little lad and a very important part of the Mech-Innes team.

Anyone who’s happened to meet him will know he likes to think he is K9 security!

It was booked in to have the gearbox replaced( supplied by the customer after a diagnosis elsewhere).

Before I started, I carried out my own checks…The gearbox was absolutely fine!

What it actually needed? Both front wheel bearings replaced.

This is exactly why I always carry out my own diagnostics, no matter what a vehicle comes in for.
