Today we would like to pay tribute to someone who has been a huge part of the lives of Pampered Pets, Highland Canine Coaching, Colbre Pampered Pets and so many pet owners across the Highlands.
After 37 years in veterinary practice, John Donald has retired from Moray Coast Vet Group.
For us, John has been far more than a vet. He has been a trusted source of advice, support and reassurance throughout the years. Whether helping our own dogs, supporting our clients pets or simply taking the time to answer a question. John has always been generous with his knowledge and unwavering in his commitment to animal welfare.
In our professions, we meet many veterinary professionals, but there are some who leave a lasting impression because of the way they treat both animals and people. John is one of those people. His compassion, integrity and genuine care have earned him the respect of our colleagues, clients and pet owners alike.
The animals he has helped over the past 37 years are too many to count, but the difference he has made to their lives and to the people who loved them, will never be forgotten.
While John may be stepping into a well-earned retirement, he has left us in the capable hands of Jamie, Andy, Mark and the marvellous team at Moray Coast Vets, who continue to provide the outstanding care, professionalism and compassion that the practice is known for.
We would like to thank John for his friendship, his wisdom, his kindness and for always being there when it mattered. He has made a tremendous contribution to animal welfare in our community, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he has touched.
Everyone at Pampered Pets and Highland Canine Coaching will miss him dearly, but we wish him a long, happy and well-deserved retirement.
As a small token of our appreciation, we are holding a collection for John to show our sincere gratitude and best wishes.
If any of our clients would like to join us, please hand your contribution into any of our stores and we will ensure it is included in our gift to John.
