Free Bike Maintenance Class! Friday 4th Sept, 9.45 to 11.30
In the session we will cover:
- Removing front and back wheels
- Basic brake maintenance
- How to fix a puncture
We'll leave plenty of time for people to try things and ask questions, so there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get involved! You are welcome to bring your own bike along, but it isn't required. Booking is though 😄

We've been a little quiet over the past few weeks with ride leaders on holiday but rest assured our weekly social ride has been continuing. Thank you to those that have helped out!

This week was perhaps our warmest ride in recent memory. Fortunately we had a shaded route through Torbreck woods planned, and plenty of time to sit down after at the Botanics. 😊

What a delight it was to cycle down to Loch Ness this week on our annual pilgrimage to its shores. A longer ride than normal but everyone got on just fine and we had a lovely day out.

We are pleased to be offering a cycle to the Highlands & Islands Climate Hub climate conversation this month. The topic is walking and wellbeing in Inverness.

This is happening on Monday 22nd June at 6pm at the Bike Shed in Merkinch.

We are organising a bike ride from the leisure centre to the bike shed in Merkinch where the event is taking place. We will meet at 445pm to cycle over to the Bike Shed in Merkinch for the event starting at 6pm.

Beginners Cycling with Velo City — Inverness Festival of Walking and Wheeling Come and join Velo City for a social cycle from Torvean Park to Dochgarroch Locks and back.

We're very excited to be running a ride as part of the Walking and Wheeling Festival again this year!

The friendly and welcoming Velo City Inverness team invite you to join them for a social cycle. Along the Canal Towpath from Torvean to Dochgarroch Lock.

They have bicycles and helmets available to borrow (must be pre-booked) so even if you don't have a bike you can still join this event.
