βοΈπ©οΈ This week at Cathedral Beavers we took to the skies as we continued working towards our Air Activities Badge! π©οΈβοΈ
There was plenty of creativity, teamwork, and a little friendly competition as our Beavers designed and built their own paper aeroplanes before putting them through their paces. Some flew far, some flew fast, and a few had minds of their own! π
It's always wonderful to see young people learning new skills, experimenting, and having fun together.
Well done to all our Beavers for their fantastic designs and enthusiasm! π

ππ₯ Cathedral Beavers Visit Inverness Fire Station π₯π
What an exciting evening our Cathedral Beavers had visiting the amazing team at Inverness Fire Station! π¨βππ©βπ
We learned all about fire safety, discovered what firefighters do to keep our communities safe, and had the opportunity to explore the fire engines up close. πβ¨
One of the highlights of the evening was seeing the specialist rescue boat based here in Inverness and learning how it is used to help people in emergencies on the water. π€π
A huge thank you to everyone at Inverness Fire Station for their warm welcome, fascinating demonstrations, and for sharing their knowledge with us. The Beavers had a fantastic time and learned so much! π

π³ What a fantastic evening for Cathedral Beavers at Inverness Lawn Bowls Club! π³
Our Beavers had a wonderful time learning new skills, practising their aim, and discovering that lawn bowls is much harder than it looks! π
A huge thank you to everyone at the club for their warm welcome, expert tuition, patience, and encouragement throughout the evening. The sweets were also a big hit and may just have helped us perfect our bowling techniques! π¬π―
It was great to try something new, build confidence, and have lots of fun together. Thank you for helping us make such happy memories. π

With some inspiration from the 1999 World Jamboree in Chile, tonight the scouts learnt about Chilean culture, water scarcity in the Atacama and what makes buildings resilient during an earthquake
