Its been a while...So here's a very simple but important check.. As part of a PSSR Inspection, the safety valve is removed and tested to make sure it operates at the right pressure... This is basically your boilers last line of defense.

So it's been a while, so I thought I better post a few pics. A little bit of charity work for the 1668 Cafe in Inverness last week. After hearing about their fantastic team serving Inverness's needy some free meals over Christmas, I just couldn't charge them for fixing their machine. The Spray nozzle O ring had failed, also the solenoid was blocked by limescale and debris. After fitting a new nozzle, filter and o ring, stripping and cleaning the solenoid everything worked a dream 🫡☕️
Keep up the great work guys, Inverness needs more places like you! Also it's a great place to drop in for a decent espresso / turmeric latte!

What's that werid taste 🤔
So why is it important to carry out regular servicing of your Cafe Espresso Machine? Well if you're brewing lots of coffee a day, all these grinds, oils and residues build up into a sticky & bitter grime affecting the taste of your brew.
The grinds can also build up and restrict water flow through your shower heads or create a bad seal between the brew head and portafilter.
Safety and performance aside, your espresso could end up tasting foul if the brewheads are not cleaned and serviced regularly.
Don't leave it until your customers complain, contact me today to arrange your front end service and keep that espresso tasting just right.🤌 ☕️
A wee shout out to our newest customer Larry. He reported that his machine wasn't producing water from the brew head.... After a little fault finding I was able to prove that the solenoid had failed. This little beastie controls the passage of water by opening and closing a valve... Unfortunately this one will need to be replaced, however the new one will get the machine up and running once again ☕️
A Delonghi Dinamica Touch was delivered as it was tripping the customers Circuit breaker at home. Upon opening the machine, evidence of a water leak was found and the vaporiser element had significant earth leakage when resistance checked. System was then dried out and a new fitting ordered. Earth resistance tested ok. Final testing of machine proved that the fault was cured. 😀If you have have an issue with your home or commercial machine, or require servicing or testing feel free to give me a shout! Ryan☕️
