Some pictures from the result of last weeks high winds.

Last week we were contacted by a land owner to clear a patch of windblow from the recent storms that was blocking a busy public access path.
We managed to get this done quickly and safely before the snow came down thanks to the help of our mini loader managing to lift and move large logs / branches with minimal effort.

Some pictures from last weeks storm clear up. We were straight out on Saturday clearing powerlines for SSE, and then a couple of trees on the A9 for BEAR Scotland. The rest of the week we spent removing a variety of blown and hung up trees on peoples properties.

We hope everyone stays safe over the weekend. We will be on 24 hour call out over the weekend so don’t hesitate to get in contact regarding any tree work.

We were called by a customer to look at a poplar tree with a heavy lean over their house.
It was clear that the tree had been blown in the recent winds and was suffering from a lifted root plate. The tree needed removed and involved a fun bit of rigging to protect the other trees around the base. A fun job and a satisfied customer.

A few snaps of up rooted trees and broken branches we dealt with after the recent winds.
We had contracts to honour which meant a couple weeks of late nights to ensure we got out to all of our customers as soon as we could and get all jobs tidied up, but most importantly made safe along with providing advice and tree maintenance plans to reduce the risk in future storms.
