Sorry for the late post. We’ve had lots going on over the last few months.

What a season we have had. Our first one, never raced before, complete novices and came 2nd in the Freelander Championship and 15th overall

We’ve had some ups and downs

Test Day at Walter’s Arena - Was a brilliant day. Managed to complete this with no issues at all. Even had the fun of driving 44 back home from Wales due to the Evoque breaking down.

Round 1 at Walter’s Arena - We managed to get 5 successful laps in but Lap 6 we managed to kill a tyre & wheel. But with the Chief Marshalls help, we were able to complete our final lap, coming 2nd Place in the Freelander Trophy. 🥈

Round 2 at Bovington - Was a bit of a disaster for us. Completed Lap 1 and 2 with no issues apart from a Flying Lesson on Lap 1 🤣
But Lap 3 wasn’t meant to be and 44 died on the start line. After some investigations - we needed a new engine.

Round 3 at Pickering - Due to the engine swap we weren’t quite ready, so had to give it a miss.

Round 4 at Pen-y-Bont - Replacement Engine and new HD Clutch supplied by one of our sponsors LOF we were ready to go. This course was great fun with lots of climbs and drops in the rain but again we managed to get all our allotted laps in to grab 2nd Place again in the Freelander Trophy. 🥈

Round 5 at Minehead - This course was great fun. Had no issues with the car at all and managed to get 2nd Place again.🥈

Round 6 at Ilfracombe - Unfortunately this one clashed with our annual Charity Event so we were unable to attend this one.

Round 7 at Whaddon and Round 8 (Final Race) at Walter’s Arena - We decided to Marshall these races to experience all the different aspects racing brings.

Final Stage of the AWDC Comp Safari.
Today is Day One of a 2 day Race and we are Marshalling down at Post 7

Here we are at Round 7 of the AWDC Comp Safari Championship, but not with 44, we have MF28 down at Point 6

What’s even better than Racing… the amazing job that all the photographers do 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

They do get some amazing shots of all the Cars racing round.

Back on the trailer after a successful Round 5 at Minehead. Believe we also got Second Place in Class 1. Now for the long drive home.
