WOW! That was a hot one ☀️🔥

But what a great day! We had the brilliant Softcat out for a Be A Ranger session with us.

We pulled out some blanket w**d, litter picked in the river Wye, drilled holes in logs for bees and made some pollinator pots, as it is after all!

Despite the heat everyone put in heaps of effort and energy and it really paid off, thank you 🥳🫶🙌

A sign of the times, a shortened session adapted for the increasing temperatures that we are experiencing🌡

Open day at the new Misbourne Valley nature reserve at Chalfont St Peter - really positive for people and nature !

These two plants are Bee Orchids variety belgarum
A first (that we know of) at Gomm’s Wood LNR in High Wycombe.
Nature is amazing and keeps you on your toes, I’ve been looking after this site for over 20 years and had never seen this plant - until today. Thanks Paul.
