Throwback Thursday to our fun weekend in February to Llandudno! As well as performing, socialising is important to us too! And this weekend away was a fab time for us to get together and have fun (including a dip in the sea for those who wanted to 😁😁)

Say hello to Charlotte — the heart behind The Melody Makers Choir! 🎶💜

Charlotte has been part of choirs for as long as she can remember and has been Musical Director of The Melody Makers for an incredible 15 years!!!

When she’s not conducting, producing amazing harmonies and bringing joy to rehearsals, you’ll probably find her:
🐾 Walking her dogs
☕ Enjoying tea and cake
🚐 Adventuring in her campervan (or supplying tea to her partner fixing it!!)❤️

Her passion, positivity and dedication make our choir such a special place to sing, laugh and connect. We are so lucky to have her leading us every week! 🎵✨

While the singing might pause for the weekend, the we are busy enjoying sunshine, fresh air and beautiful gardens! 🌷🪴💕

From blooming flowers and garden coffees ☕ to relaxing in the sunshine and enjoying family time, we hope everyone is having a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. 💖

Sometimes the simple moments are the best ones:

📣📣📣📣DID YOU KNOW…..that singing in a choir is soooooo good for you 😃 ?!📣📣📣📣

There are many health benefits to singing in a choir from emotional wellbeing through social bonding 💖to improving lung function 🫁through breath control🧘‍♀️. In fact there is no downside - unless you are partial to cake 🍰🧁🍩😃😝!!!!

What a fantastic rehearsal last night😃!
We learnt a new warm up AND welcomed another 2 ladies (one of which was a previous member from a looooong time ago 🥰🥰)
The hall was sounding great, with a mixture of lots of laughter and great singing 🎵 🎶🎵🎶
Our favourite kind of sound!
We are taking a week off next week for half term but why not come along the week after or come to our first Karaoke/Quiz Night to meet us there?!😃🎤🎶
