On Sunday, I photographed something truly out of this world! 🌞 The Sun! (please don't try this on a regular camera)

Just me playing with a new toy 😆, more of that to come.

Our universe is amazing!
Isn't the power and beauty of the cosmos just mesmerizing? 🌌✨

I'm not a fan of the feel of the plastic notes we use nowadays but thankfully they can survive a wash!
This is the third note that's been through the wash in the last 2 weeks (and what's more annoying is I actually checked the pockets this time, so who knows where this one came from 🙄)

Last year I hiked up Fansipan Mountain in Vietnam — the highest peak in Indochina.
It took 6.5 hours… going up and down, across endless ridges, in full sun, to the top.

And it was hot.
Like, real hot.

I expected a challenge, sure — but not to be drenched in sweat by 9am and dreaming of ice water by noon.
That mountain doesn’t mess around.

But the views? Absolutely unreal.
Clear blue skies the whole way. Layers of mountains stretching into forever.

Reaching the summit under that sky — with the sun blazing down and everything wide open around me — felt like something out of a dream.
Exhausting, but 100% worth it.

If you're heading to Vietnam and looking for an adventure, this one’s a beast — but oh man, what a view.
You could aleays cheat and take the cable car. I'm sure people at the top were wondering why I was so exhausted, probably not realising I walked it!

This is by far the best insect repellent I've found... and it's deet free!
I don't travel without it these days.
