π«±π»βπ«²πΌCelebrating Success, Partnerships & Progress at Revive!
ππ»Today we welcomed a range of partners, including Rossendale Borough Council, Active Lancashire, local councillors, external agencies, and other supporters, for our Friday House Meeting. It was wonderful to bring everyone together, strengthen partnerships, and celebrate the progress we've made together.
π₯³It was a fantastic opportunity to share everything that has been happening since September, celebrate the achievements of our residents and recognise the progress that has been made along the way and most importantly putting names to faces. π
π Building and maintaining strong partnerships with local agencies and organisations is vital to the work we do. By working collaboratively, we can ensure people have access to the right support, opportunities, and resources to help them achieve their goals and improve their wellbeing. These partnerships play a key role in creating positive outcomes and stronger communities. π€
π«ΆπΌA special highlight of the day was welcoming back former resident Andrew, who shared his inspiring recovery journey. He spoke about the steps he took to get where he is today, the challenges he overcame, and what he is doing now. His story was a powerful reminder that recovery is possible with determination, support, and belief in yourself. π±
π The event concluded with the presentation of certificates, acknowledging hard work, commitment, and personal achievements. π
π₯ͺA special thank you to Ruby Cuisine and Ammar Treats π° for catering today's event. π The food was absolutely amazing and enjoyed by everyone who attended. β€οΈ
π Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make the day such a success. Together, we are building stronger connections, creating opportunities, and celebrating recovery. π€

β½ FIFA World Cup 2026 officially starts today, and there was no way Revive wasn't going to get involved!
ποΈ Staff and residents meticulously planned how the outside of the building would be decorated.
π¨ Materials were ordered, ideas were shared, and despite whatever the weather decided to throw at us, nothing was going to stop the team from bringing our vision to life.
π Located in the heart of Haslingden, we wanted to do our bit to celebrate this global event and create something that the local community could enjoy.
π We think you'll agree that the finished result looks amazing, and we're incredibly proud of what has been achieved together.
β½ Now it's time to enjoy the football and cheer on your favourite teams!
π Revive is ready for the World Cup let the games begin!
βWe had the pleasure of attending the Lady Boss Coffee Morning held at Scaitcliffe House.π°
βοΈToday's event showcased an exciting partnership between Hyndburn Borough Council and Kind Communities, supporting women with cooking skills to turn their passion into a viable business enterprise.π°
βοΈWe were delighted to invite members of our Ladies Only Project to attend, giving them the opportunity to explore what support is available, network with like minded women, and discover pathways into self-employment and business development.π°
βοΈWe were especially proud of how our ladies engaged throughout the session. Many stepped out of their comfort zones, took part in group discussions and activities, and participated with confidence and enthusiasm.π°
These experiences directly support the goals within their individual support plans, helping them to develop:
πͺ Self-confidence
πΈ Self-esteem
π Motivation
β€οΈ A stronger sense of self-worth
βοΈWhile the time may not be right for everyone to start a business venture, simply attending, exploring opportunities, and considering what might be possible for the future speaks volumes.π°
βοΈTaking that first step, being open to new ideas, and believing in their own potential is a huge achievement in itself. Every journey starts somewhere, and today was about planting seeds for future growth, confidence, and success .π°
βοΈProviding opportunities like this for our residents is incredibly important. By connecting women with the right advice, training, and support, we can help break down barriers, encourage personal growth, and open doors to new opportunities. Having access to a supportive network can make all the difference in helping women achieve their goals, increase their independence, and reach their full potential.π°
βοΈA huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such an inspiring and valuable event. We look forward to seeing the positive impact it has on women across our community! π°
Wow! π€©
The weather may have been miserable outside, but our ladies-only project have been busy keeping warm and productive!
π§π
With the ovens on and the baking underway, the kitchen was filled with warmth, laughter, and some amazing creations. It was wonderful to see everyone coming together, learning and sharing new skills, building confidence, and having fun along the way.
β¨Exploring new opportunities is so important, as it helps people discover hidden talents, develop new skills, and build self-belief. You never know β we may even have an upcoming chef in the making! π©βπ³β¨
πͺ»Don't forget, upcoming event hosted by Lady Boss Coffee Morning on Wednesday 10th June, 9.30am-12.30pm, Hyndburn Borough Council, Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod St, Accrington, BB5 OPF a great chance to connect, share experiences, and support one another. βπ

πβ€οΈ Life-Saving Skills β€οΈπ
A few weeks ago, the amazing volunteers from Rossendale Community First Responders
delivered life-saving first aid training at our Haslingden Hub.
Today, we welcome them to our Women Only Project to share these vital skills with another group of participants. π
π©ΉβοΈ First Aid knowledge is something everyone can benefit from. In an emergency, knowing what to do in those first few moments can make all the difference. Whether it's performing CPR, recognising the signs of a medical emergency, or helping someone until professional help arrives, these skills can quite literally save a life. β€οΈ
π We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated volunteers from Rossendale First Responders for giving up their time to deliver these invaluable training sessions. Their commitment, knowledge, and passion help empower local people with the confidence to act when it matters most, making our communities safer for everyone. π
Thank you Dawn for everything you do! π

π‘β¨ To finish off another busy week, we thought we would share what todayβs house meeting looked like.
Alongside our weekly house meetings, we try to plan and deliver a focused session once a month around residentsβ needs, progression, recovery, mental health, wellbeing, and awareness topics. These directed sessions provide an opportunity to step away from the normal meeting format and create meaningful discussions that encourage understanding, involvement, participation, and motivation. π¬π±
Planned sessions like these are important because they give residents dedicated time to reflect on their recovery journey, recognise the progress they have made, identify areas they would like to continue working on, and build confidence in moving forward. πͺβ
Active involvement is equally important, as it encourages residents to share experiences, support one another, develop communication skills, and take ownership of their recovery goals. π€
β€οΈ It also allows both residents and staff to gain a better understanding of where each individual is on their recovery journey and how best to support continued progress. π€οΈβ¨
So far our monthly focused sessions have included:
π January β Introduction Session
β€οΈ February β Valentine's Day: What Today Means to Us (Revive Style)
π· March β Mother's Day & Special People
π€ May β Rebuilding Connections and Moving Forward
Today's session focused on rebuilding connections and moving forward, encouraging residents to reflect on relationships, support networks, personal growth, and the positive steps they are taking towards their future. π±πβ‘οΈ
During today's session, some residents opened up about their emotions and shared personal feelings and experiences. ππ It was encouraging to see others respond with empathy, understanding, and support, with many able to relate to and connect with what was being discussed. π€
π¬ These open conversations help strengthen relationships within the house, reduce feelings of isolation, and remind residents that they are not alone in their experiences. ππ‘
A fantastic session with great engagement, honesty, and mutual support from everyone involved. π
βοΈ As we head into the extended weekend, we would like to wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable few days ahead. With the forecast looking warm and sunny, make the most of the sunshine, stay hydrated, and enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends. πππ Enjoy the extended weekend from all at Revive! π‘β¨
