Maundy Thursday evening service at Christ Church Roxeth was spiritually enriching. As we came together for foot washing and Holy Communion, there was a profound sense of sacredness in kneeling before one another with prayerful humility. Washing each other’s feet -reflected the heart of Jesus—His love, His servant spirit, and His sacrifice. It was an experience beyond words, both humbling and deeply meaningful. 'The Evening Watch' that followed, with quiet meditation and prayer, completed the night perfectly. Thank God for this sacred space to reflect on Christ’s love and draw nearer to Him🙏 (Thank you for the reflection, Kailean Khongsai)

Yesterday we celebrated 10 years of service, fellowship and dedication from Simon & Amy Durrant & their family at Christ Church Roxeth. We wish them Godspeed and many blessings as they move to a new chapter in the west. Here are a few photos from that service.
The Leaving Prayer: As I journey onward,

(Simon) I give thanks for those I have lived, worshipped and shared life with me here for these past 10 years – the many people, places and communities whose fellowship has enriched, encouraged and taught me so much.

(Congrregation) Go with God

I ask forgiveness for where I have failed in thought, word and deed; where I have let others down, lacked wisdom and understanding and have cared too much about my own reputation and concerns.

I now lay down my ministry in this place to begin a new stage of life and discipleship.

As my family and I move to Clevedon and begin a new life in the community there, I pray to be faithful in all God asks of me.

As you begin this new stage in your life, we pray that you may grow and flourish in every way, and bear fruit for God.

We pray that you may never lose sight of the shelter of God’s loving arms.

We entrust Simon, Amy , Zoe, Adam, Karson and Eva into your loving care, knowing that you are always the faithful traveller and companion on the Way.
Shield and protect them from harm and anxiety.
Grant them the courage to meet the future and grace to let go into your new life. Through Christ our Saviour. Amen

Today’s wild worship was great! We identified 8 species of wildflowers—some just rising from the soil—and 8 species of birds singing around us (photo attached). Truly, we were not alone in praise, as Scripture declares, creation itself proclaims His handiwork. The trees clapped their hands, the wind carried His breath, and the birds lifted their songs to the Most High.

After a long darkness, tender shoots reached for the light—a living witness to Christ’s resurrection power and unfailing hope.

In this season of challenges, let us stand firm together, rooted in His promises, holding fast to His resurrection power & living hope. God is faithful!-God bless you all 🙏

Let’s keep one another in prayer. Our leaders are attending the “New Wine Leadership Gathering,” and I am taking part in the “Curate Leadership Skills Training Event” at Curzon Street, London. May God bless and guide us all wherever we are🙏🙏

Come and join us! This Sunday, Christ Church Roxeth will observe Persecuted Church Sunday with a particular focus on the Christian community in Manipur. Our Curate, Kailean Khongsai, will provide an update on the current situation, and we will also hear a brief message from Rev. Dr. Satkai, Asst.
