Here’s a breakdown of all the graphic elements used on the box packaging design for Cramp 📦
Cramps vision was all about clean, sustainable products that empower their audience through period positivity, inclusivity & aren’t shy.
Just the necessary information that’s required, what the user needs to know & visually communicated information combined with a bold, clean layout that screams a ‘no-nonsense’ vibe, but the funky branding, the tone of the wording & playful composition adds an edge to this design.
What do you think? Let me know! 👇🏼
CRAMP 💥
Period positive products for people who bleed.
28/01/2022
Introducing: ✸ CRAMP
Organic, plastic free, no-nonsense products for people who bleed.
When shopping for period products the shelves are filled with packaging that is always pink and stereotypically ‘girly’, most of them had flowers or butterflies all over them (??? not sure what that had to do with periods) anyway, the vibe was just not it.
Cramp isn’t about all that. They take a more realistic stance and focus on a clean, inclusive and straightforward look.
I wanted to position this brand differently, actually considering the audience & market and that’s what will make it stand out on the shelf.
Make sure to follow to see the launch of this project, there’s so much more coming your way! This is just a sneak peek 👀

When you’re investing in a visual identity for your brand, you’re investing in so much more than what’s on the surface ⬇️
Branding is commonly misunderstood and it’s easy to understand why - it’s pretty complex stuff! Not only is it your visual elements such as a logo, colours, type etc, it’s about strategy, industry research, psychology & design.
A brand should be built from below the surface, manufacturing an effective visual appeal afterwards.
Behind a strong visual identity is a brand that builds trust within your industry, connects with your audience and is completely functional with your business, from your goals & mission to how your brand is subconsciously perceived by your audience.
If you’re thinking of building a brand identity, find a designer who works for your brand and make sure you build the whole iceberg, not just what’s on the surface 🌟
I’d love to help! DM me for more information or head to my enquiry form to start the on boarding process 👩🏻💻

The prime ingredient is Bulgarian rose, giving a fragrant floral smell that we really wanted the packaging to reflect. This product layers amazingly with the butter, perfect for any date night! ✨

Let’s be real for a sec: there’s nothing more expensive for a growing business than cheap design.
Why? It’s the face of your company. It represents your business with memorable details, strategy, gives your brand a personality & visual communication. It’s invaluable to your business in the long run.
Good design has a deep connection with your brand, a thorough understanding of your ethos, goals and audience, a sincere knowledge of your whole business. This sees beyond trendy styles & aesthetics.
It’s hard to find a consensus on what ‘good design’ constitutes. It’s difficult to objectively value it, because every designer works differently and every business has different design needs, giving a whole range of pricing within the design industry.
It’s better for your business to shop for a designer based on the value they can bring you rather than what they charge - trust me.
Designers spend time thoroughly understanding your industry, studying your competitors and using design psychology to really connect with your business goals & your audience.
We’re professionals at this, we analyse every aspect of your brand and we work our magic. It’s not just a logo, business card or website - it’s a whole identity and positioning in your market.
You might see a design and think that looks great, it’s professional-looking & clean - but it’s just some text, how hard can that be? But a non-designer might not understand how much blood, sweat & tears has gone into it. It’s strategically conceptualised from your goals & gone through so many stages to get to where it is.
There’s a reason for every element we use in your design, they will always be justified.
When choosing a designer, make sure you get an understanding of their process. Can they provide what you need on a deeper level than just aesthetics? Can they help you reach your business goals? You’re putting your brand image in someone else’s hands. It takes time, collaboration & expertise.
Good design gives you the opportunity to leap over your competition. It’s worth the investment ✨

Here’s a lil snippet of the logo breakdown, logo variations & visual communicators made for 🐾
All aspects of the design are strategically thought about and considered when creating a visual identity. There’s a reason for everything! As well as aesthetics it’s sooo important to consider where & how your designs will be used and how that will impact your audience.
As part of my branding services a strategic based design process is integral to your identity, providing all sorts of variation and brand elements to build a strong, effective business look that makes you stand out in your niche and capture your goals & clientele.
