The Pets Foundation, registered as the Pets at Home Foundation charity numbers 1104152 & SC052589.

We passionately believe that every pet deserves a loving forever home. Over the years, we are proud to have worked alongside rescue, and rehoming organisations across the country who strive to help pets in need find their forever loving homes. In 2021, we broadened our objectives, allowing us to support charities that work alongside pets and the people who love them. We will strive to work alongside like-minded partners to help those people who benefit either through the addition of a pet or through time spent with them.

Say hi to Lennie and Minnie 😻

These two mischievous and playful cuties were sadly abandoned by their mum and found hiding in undergrowth, where they were fortunately spotted and brought to safety in the care of Coventry Cat Group.

Underweight and suffering from hypothermia at just 5 weeks old, they were very lucky to be alive.

Thanks to our recent grant of Β£3,500, the charity has been able to purchase an additional kitten pen. This new space will provide Lennie and Minnie, and other vulnerable kittens in the charity's care, with a safe place to sleep, play and recover after neutering, as well as a sterile environment should they develop any infections.

Great news for the dogs and puppies at R S P C A York, Harrogate and District Branch 🐢 πŸŽ‰

We're proud to have awarded a Β£100,000 grant towards the charity's new puppy unit, helping bring its wider redevelopment plans one step closer to reality.

The new facility will provide improved spaces for vulnerable dogs and puppies, supporting their care, recovery and future rehoming.

The charity said: "A huge thank you to the Pets Foundation for believing in our vision and investing in the future of York Animal Home."

Thanks to your donations to Pets Foundation, we're able to award grants like this and support projects that create brighter futures for pets in need. πŸ’š

Some dogs wait a long time for their happy ending. 🐢

Sweet Sierra and Raya have now found their forever home together after spending 489 days in the care of Hope Rescue 🏑

Rescued as part of a large welfare case involving dozens of dogs, they received the care and support they needed before beginning the next chapter of their lives.

A recent Β£27,260 grant awarded to Hope Rescue will contribute towards essential veterinary costs, utility bills and new laundry equipment, helping the charity continue its rescue and rehoming work for dogs in need.

Your donations help make grants like this possible. πŸ’šπŸ™

A huge round of applause for our Leeds Half Marathon team!

Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, our Pets UK colleagues, Lara, Sophie, Rob, Mia and Alun laced up their running shoes and took on 13.1 miles for Pets Foundation.

Together, they've raised an incredible Β£1,379, enough to fund 28 full days of emergency care, including food, shelter and medical attention for a pet in urgent need.

Thank you for your commitment, determination and fundraising efforts. We're so proud of you all and grateful for your support in helping pets and the people who love them. πŸƒπŸ‘πŸ’š

What happens when 26 colleagues swap their beds for kennel floors for one night? 🐾

At our first-ever Snores For Paws Kennel Sleepout, they spent one night in the life of a rescue pet, raising vital funds for the Foundation's work and helping spread awareness of the reality many pets face while living in rescue.

Throughout the evening, colleagues learned the stories of rescue pets waiting for their forever homes and the challenges they face before finding a loving family.

We're incredibly proud that they've raised an amazing Β£10,088.42 so far! πŸŽ‰

One participant summed up the experience perfectly:

"Spending a night at Carla Lane Animal Rescue for Pets Foundation's first Snores For Paws event was an unforgettable experience. There wasn't much sleep, there were some snores, plenty of animal chatter, and a lot of love, but knowing we were helping pets in need made every minute worthwhile."

There's still time to donate and help us raise even more via our Snores For Paws JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/snoresforpaws2026

Thank you to everyone who took part, donated and cheered us on from afar, and a special thank you to Carla Lane Animals in Need Liverpool for hosting us and helping bring our first Snores For Paws to life. πŸ™πŸ’š

Meet Charlie 😻

A grant awarded to St Francis Animal Welfare in July helped Charlie receive the dental treatment he urgently needed.

Charlie came into their care with a broken canine tooth and several others that required extraction. Left untreated, these painful dental issues could have led to infection and further health complications.

Thanks to this support, Charlie has received the treatment he needed and is now enjoying a much more comfortable, pain-free life. πŸ™

Charlie is just one of the many animals benefiting from funding that helps St Francis Animal Welfare provide life-changing care when it's needed most.

Happy ! 🧑🐱

Did you know that around 80% of ginger cats are male? That's because the gene responsible for orange fur is carried on the X chromosome. Male cats only need one copy of the gene to be ginger, while female cats typically need to inherit it from both parents.

Do you share your home with one of these fabulous felines?
