Yesterday concluded another epic charity walk.

This year due to weather, distance and terrain it proved much harder.

First of all a few huge thankyou's to our sponsors Marthall Tree Products, iTG Technologies and Peter Herd of Wilmslow.

A massive thankyou to Collin for all his efforts this week and giving up his time transporting some of our equipment and Janet who carried out a lot of the background route and accommodation planning.

So many people helped us along the way but a special mention needs to go to The highway Man, Kirkby Lonsdale and The Black Bull in Haslingden who found us accommodation over a couple of nights.

And finally Steve a relative of our group who met us up Scafell Pike and with his military experience guided us to the summit, and to completion. In conditions we would have otherwise turned back in.

The total stands at £7300 for The Christies with some charity boxes left to check in and cash contributions collected on route, we will have smashed our target once again. This means that with gift aid contributions HF Team have raised in excess of 20k in two years from our efforts for different charities.

To sign out for now and conclude all the HF lads are absolute legends and shall be enjoying a well earned long weekend, well done team 👊💪🥾

Thanks to all those who have donated so far it really means a lot. For those who still wish to donate the link is:

Big Day tomorrow up Scafell Pike🏔️

We have finally arrived at our final stop after 7 days of walking 😰

Lots of blisters and pain but we have all made it in one piece.

It’s been a hard walk with lots of rain but the little bursts of sunshine have kept us going 💪

It's a heads down and get on with it kind of day. 20 miles of wet tarmac. On a positive note the Just Giving page is smashing it. Thank you everyone.
