Halstead Walkers
Halstead Walkers meet at the park bandstand in Halstead, Essex every Monday & Thursday at 10 am. Walkers participate at their own risk.
Walks are conducted at an easy pace and are 2 to 3 miles long with tea shop option at the end.

Some 15 walkers from our weekend party of 23 enjoyed a 5 mile walk from our holiday base at Corton to Gorleston Sands. No sign of any storms on a perfect January day.

Thanks to your feedback, the team, which is part of Essex County Council, has been finalising the cycling and walking networks across a number of towns and cities.
They are now working on creating networks to link up rural areas, connecting our beautiful green spaces in ways that make sense to you.

On Thursday 37 walkers enjoyed their Christmas lunch at Gosfield Lake Golf Club. Thanks to Sue and Cliff for organising, Mark for his annual quiz and Bill for leading the singing.π

Around 25 walkers enjoyed a leisurely stroll on the south side of town on a warm August day with a welcome coffee stop at the Bull afterwards.

Sixteen walkers enjoyed a gentle amble around town today crossing over a swollen River Colne. Warmish and no sign of recent rain.

Corton holiday day 2. Around a dozen members took the cliff top path to Hopton and enjoyed a coffee in the village pub. A small party of one continued to Gorleston and Great Yarmouth with a bus back.

Corton holiday. Nine members walked along the coast to Lowestoft stopping at Ness Point, the country's most easterly point. Weather sunny but slightly chilly.
