Week 5: Minecraft & Nature explorers 🐝🌿

What we had planned… we didn’t actually do 😄
And honestly, sometimes the best way in home ed is to go child-led.

The children became interested in other things, and by following their curiosity, so much more learning unfolded naturally. We spent time exploring nature, looking at different leaves, watching the deer and cats, and simply learning through real-life experiences together.

Not every session will go to plan, but this one turned into something really lovely 💚

It’s amazing to reflect on what we’ve started together, how far we’ve come, and how this wonderful community continues to grow into something so supportive, nurturing, and special. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of so many families’ home education journeys.

One of the loveliest parts is watching the children grow in confidence, friendships, creativity, and joy — while seeing our community become bigger and even more beautiful every day.

Week 4 🐝✨

This week we learned all about BEES, and the children were completely engrossed in discovering fascinating facts about them!

We watched a bee documentary together and learned so many amazing things — did you know a queen bee can lay up to 2,000 eggs a day?! 🐝👑

Throughout the session we:
✨ Created bee fact files
✨ Painted little stone bumblebees with acrylic paints
✨ Wrote a bee poem
✨ Cut out and labelled parts of a bee
✨ Went outside to observe bees in nature and learn about pollination firsthand

The children had such a wonderful time exploring, observing, creating, and connecting with nature through learning. 🌼

I was honestly so engrossed in the activities and conversations today that I completely forgot to get many videos, but I managed to capture a few little snippets to share with you all. 🤍

We’ve got just 3 weeks left of this term before we begin our exciting NEW 5-week summer term — and it’s going to be full of fun, creativity, adventure, and magic 🌿💛

Here’s what’s coming up:

🎨 TWO weeks of art & creativity
We’ll be working with clay, creating our own activities, crafting, and letting imaginations run wild!

🧺 Weekly adventures & picnics
We’ll be getting outdoors, exploring together, enjoying nature, and making beautiful summer memories.

🍕 Italy Day
A whole day learning about Italy — including making our own pizzas!

🎶 K-Pop Demon Hunters Day
A fun themed day full of music, games, creativity, and all things K-pop inspired!

🎉 Summer Party Finale
Our final session will be a big summer celebration packed with games, fun, laughter, and community.

I completely forgot to release this post earlier — we’ve just been so busy, so in the flow of it all, and fully immersed in what we’re creating together.

Our new advert for the next 6-week term will be coming out next week, and there is so much magic ahead. We’re really excited about what’s coming 🤍

Over the past few months, the feedback from parents has honestly touched me so deeply. So many of you have said that this feels like home… and that means everything. Truly. I feel overwhelmed (in the best way) by the love and connection that’s grown here.

What we’ve created together is something really special — a beautiful, supportive, heart-led community. And that’s something that can’t be replicated. It’s built on real connection, trust, and shared energy.

To all the parents, all the children, and everyone who has been part of this journey — thank you. Thank you for your kindness, your presence, your openness, and your love.
