Something very different in the workshop a few months back, a full scale model, made by Rolls Royce, of a mini nuclear reactor, designed for the moon, seems the future plan is to colonise it. We were asked to powder coat all the stand, frame and electrical boxes in Matt Black, the model is now touring schools, universities and companies all over the UK.

Something a little bit different in this week, a set of AC Cobra split rims. Customer wanted wider rims so sourced new outers, inners were stripped, prepped and painted in Porsche Vesuvius Grey, then they were rebuilt using marine grade stainless bolts. Going to look awesome once back on the car.

New “toy” day at the Wheel Repair it workshop, this state of the art machine , an Autoblaster, will speed up our prep times massively, as well as continuously giving us the best prepared surface to powder coat onto.

Some seriously rotten Mini split rims in last week, customer didn’t want them diamond cut, so agreed we would silver the outer edge. The wheels were split, striped back to bare alloy, prepped, primed, painted, lacquer then reassembled back together. As you can see from the pictures, a massive improvement, like new, customer very very happy. Credit to the whole team who were involved with these wheels.
