Experienced drivers often spot potential problems much earlier.

That gives them time to:

✅ Observe properly

🚨 Important Driving Test Booking Update 🚨

If you're learning to drive, it's important to know that the DVSA has tightened the rules around driving test bookings.

Since 12 May 2026, learner drivers must manage their own driving test bookings through the official GOV.UK service.

❌ Avoid unofficial apps or websites that search for test appointments for you.

❌ Never give your booking details to someone on social media claiming they can find an earlier test.

✅ Only use the official GOV.UK driving test booking service.

The DVSA has warned that learners who break the booking terms could face restrictions on managing their test online and, in some cases, have their test cancelled.

The aim is to make the booking system fairer for everyone waiting for a test.
