Today, we are reflecting on the great start to the Presence year with Unge Viken Teater, working together on a project culminating at the Norwegian Embassy in September, featuring staged extracts from works by each of four incredibly talented debutant playwrights. An absorbing day on Friday with our actors' play reading group exploring intricate social worlds facing the sea and other immensities in John Whiting's Penny for a Song, and the latest draft of Simon Jaggers's wonderful Manifest Release Machine, the latter in the presence of the writer.
