The Art School was, once again, the inspiring setting for this evening's Summer Art Exhibition as visitors enjoyed the stunning glass corridor gallery.

The rich diversity of artwork on display was simply breath-taking as visitors were absolutely absorbed by the quality of work, from installation to pottery, from First Form to A Level work, at the annual Summer Art Exhibition.

Our Senior Prizegiving ceremony was an inspiring opportunity to celebrate our prizewinners as Guest of Honour - governor, Old Guildfordian and former School Captain - Calvin Ngwena presented the prizes and spoke of the opportunities for our students to make a real difference in the world.

Delighted to present two more Honours Caps to mark the incredible sportsmanship and dedication of those who have represented the School at first team level in our major sports of rugby, hockey and cricket. Ollie and Alex absolutely epitomise these values both on and off the pitch: acting as inspiring role models to students throughout the School.

As temperatures soared, records tumbled with 5 School Records being broken - and 1 equalled - on Sports Day including Dylan breaking the Fourth Form shot record which has stood since 1979. Nettles House were victorious to claim the coveted trophy.

At the stunning Bradstone Brook, the Headmaster wins the toss & elects to field in the annual match of the Headmaster’s XI v the OG’s XI.

Miss Dann, Teacher of Chemistry and First Form Tutor tells us she is excited about the schools move to co-education - "From my experience, co-education encourages more open conversation and mutual respect, and I’m really looking forward to bringing that dynamic into my classroom". In an entertaining game, played with great energy and sportsmanship, the Staff XI beat the Leavers' XI. Highlights included: 65 for Head of Cricket, Mr Black; 3 catches for Mr Dodd; 49 for Max Webb; and various comedy moments...
