Hi 👋 it’s Jen here. Savannah R James is a pen name I use for my paranormal content, as many of you know. Today I bring you some news. I am bringing all my content under one name, my name: Jen Elvy. (Jen’s Poems on Facebook). This means that this page and my Savannah R James pages on other platforms will no longer be active. I won’t be closing them down for now but I just won’t be posting on them. My books under Savannah will remain under that name for the time being, but all books from now on will be under, Jen Elvy, including my novel, which I’ll still be writing.

If you’d like to continue to follow my journey I’ll be over at Jen's Poems and there will be paranormal content as well as poetry on other topics (I thrive on variety). I have big plans for 2026 so do come and join me.

The last week day of the Christmas holidays and I managed to watch a bit of Afterlife before my youngest got up. (When the teen will materialise I have no idea 😂) When I create a psychic character, Alison Mundy is my go-to. The benchmark. This series has given me so much inspiration.

Going to the coast in the winter is a different experience to a summer’s day by the sea but one I’d recommend. The waves always settle my soul and you just experience a different atmosphere. My MC loves to be by the sea.

I posted this last month but there were a couple of cringey errors so I’m reposting 🤣.

Went back to my novel yesterday and mapped out a few things. It’s all looking a bit clearer now. Nearly ready to start writing again. I’m in no rush. Just nice and chilled.

A poem I wrote using some things I’ve heard and some “poetic license”. Fun fact: I wrote some of this when I’d had a few glasses of prosecco, which actually helped relax my editing voice and encouraged me to just go for it! I did go back and edit the next day. Also my youngest son loves it!
