Baby bear is getting his first taste of spikeshedgehogfood with some semi moist and kitten biscuits. He is self anointing - putting saliva on his back.

Two more hoglets in after mum passed away. They’re now tucked up warm.

Meet Goldilocks and the three bears - hoglets in our nursery.
Goldilocks is the biggest hoglet now at 175g. She came in at 130g and could feed herself but insisted on having baby food in a syringe. She’s now started to eat properly.

Big bear (155g) was stuck down the side of a fence. He’s just come in and is having some formula (not milk) to help rehydrate him and encourage him to eat.

Medium bear was found when mum had died on the roads. His two natural siblings didn’t survive and he has a wound to his back. He’s recovering well and has finally started to put on weight reaching 100g today.

Baby bear is the smallest hoglet we’ve been caring for. He came in at 35g two weeks ago and has opened his eyes and is keen to keep up with the bigger hoglets eating by himself.

We are looking for a release garden in the area of Great Oldbury shown on the map.
You’ll need a hedgehog house, access in and out of the garden for hedgehogs, and be willing to put out cat food and water for 2-3 weeks after release,

If you can help please message us
