My work is carpentry, plumbing, tiling and decorating. I do entire new kitchens and bathrooms, sheds, porches etc.

and don't despise the very small jobs like putting up a shelf or curtain rails.

In March I repaired a fence. The strong winds of mid-March had caused the damage.

For a customer I converted their table into an office worktop along the wall. Part of the cut-out is added to the side to make it longer. The shape is exactly as my customer wanted it. Two of the original legs used. The large space is for a low cupboard that goes under the table against the wall.

Before the second lockdown I finished this bin shed for the Phoenix Cafe. Making sheds is one of the things I do. This one I even rat-proofed using rat-and-mice mesh, because the rodents love the food remains that are thrown into the bins.

Worktop solution for small kitchen
If you've got a small kitchen, you might wonder how you could have extra worktop surface without limiting your space to move around. The solution is a folding worktop.
I made this elegant folding worktop for a lady living in a caravan. She loves cooking and is happy she can now enlarge het worktop space when she is cooking and fold it down when she's finished. The material is birch plywood, varnished with a tough varnish that protects it from moisture, dirt and scratches. The holes are made so as not to hinder the flow of hot air from the radiator.
