Established in 2020 The Ranch has evolved from animal welfare charity Saddle Up Ranch. Started by volunteers in 2014 Saddle Up focused on the rescue and rehabilitation of horses and the promotion of western horsemanship. Over the years we discovered the huge benefits spending time with animals and in nature brought to our volunteers, clients and visitors alike and our ambitions grew. Now The Ranch

Our Story
Saddle Up! Ranch is a charity started by volunteers in 2014.
We rescue and rehabilitate horses, encourage and promote western horsemanship, and work with local councils and community projects opening up opportunities for adults and children to experience hands-on work with these wonderful animals.
We started rescuing and rehabilitating horses eight years ago. There is a joy in helping a horse find out who he is again and, even better, he can teach a human horse sense and good leadership skills.
Workshops are available for individuals and groups. Donations received are used for the upkeep of the horses and improvement of facilities - we are an entirely voluntary organisation.
