sometimes I think me having free will is a bad thing.

I'm supposed to be decluttering and de-stashing at the moment and what do I do?

go and buy a dress off vinted for £10 because I was curious to see whether I as in love with it in person, as I was 10.5 years ago when I was getting married.

the answer is yes, i do love it! but I think I still would have stuck with my Ronald Joyce wedding dress because it's still one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen, and I've seen thousands of wedding dresses by this point!

anyway, i really do need to stop buying wedding dresses off vinted. no regrets on this one though!

I picked up this absolutely gorgeous wedding dress secondhand from Facebook marketplace for £30 which honestly is a steal. Id had my eye on it for ages and I wasnt sure whether to go for it but in the end, as always, heart wins over head 😁

I think it's stunning and I'm looking forward to updating you on how the washing process what and whether I was able to get all those stains out?!

this happen to anyone else or just me? you think it's going SO well ... and then the seam ripper comes out! that is the beauty of sewing though - unless you've cut it wrong (which I often do to tell you the truth) you can pretty much unpick anything and redo it. doesn't mean it's not annoying though!!

look what I found in the charity shop!
a dark raspberry pink velvet dress very reminiscent of Morticia Addams or even mother gothel from Tangled. or medieval princess depending what way you want to look at it? for the grand total of £4.25!
it's got these fabulous sleeves that go all the way to the floor and a little train.. problem is now it's spring, it doesn't feel like the right season to shoot this dress, so I'm going to keep hold of it and wait for the right opportunity to arise!

I want to make a really princessy/candyfloss/cutesy dress (think vintage My Little Pony in human form!) out of multicoloured tulle but to buy deadstock tulles is so expensive. Buying it new is out of the question, so i hit up Vinted and found this bed canopy for the princely sum of £7 + postage.

Hopefully the model won't look like she's just wearing an old bed canopy by the time I'm done but we never can tell!
