Worried about road safety, or finding suitable places for your dog to exercise in the city? You’re not alone 🐶

We spoke to dog owners across London to find out what concerns them most about life in the capital and here’s what they told us.

Every owner has their own worries, but whatever’s on your mind, your local Medivet is here to help 💙

Survey results based on a Censuswide survey of 1,002 London dog owners aged 18+.

Hi All,
If you are unable to attend an appointment, please call us to cancel in advance. We are extremely busy with people waiting to be seen. Everyday we have missed appointments-which could have been used for sick pets. Moving forwards we will be charging a £20 fee for a no-show appointment, including routine MHP health check appointments. Thank you for your understanding ❤️🐶😽🐱

We've all done it - scrolling, searching, worrying. Book your first appointment free and get real answers from your local vet 🐾

It's International Dog Day and we're celebrating all our favourite ways of spending time with our furry friends 🐶🐕🦮

From cosy cuddles on the sofa, to muddy walks, adventures and staycays, it’s always better with an extra set of paws.

What's your favourite way of spending time with your dog? We'd love to hear it!👇

❌EARLY CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY 12th August❌

Due to staffing we are closing early at 5pm on Wednesday 12th August. We are open as usual throughout the week 🐶 🐱. Apologies for any inconvenience!

Our wildlife is suffering in this heat 💔. Please place a bowl of water in your garden or driveway for passing wildlife, a shallow dish is ideal or you can put some pebbles in the bottom of a larger dish (so they can get out if they fall in). Thank you 🙏

Tortoise found near station road in Flitwick 🐢, do you know anyone who’s missing one! Proof of ownership will be required. Thanks ☺️

Happy Birthday Joey 🥳, he has just celebrated his 18th Birthday and is still looking fabulous 🥰.

** MISSING FROM THE RIDGEWAY**
Earnie (might answer to Dexter) managed to escape his carrier on the way to the practice and jumped the fence by our entrance door. Please keep an eye out for him and update us with any sightings. He is a ginger tabby, nervous, recently neutered.

Look at our beautiful patients 🥰, thank you for sharing some of your favourite photos with us ❤️ 🐈‍⬛ 🐶 🐰

We had some feedback asking for an outdoor poo-bin 💩, we have placed a small brown bin the garden ✅

We understand that saying goodbye can be one of the hardest moments we face with our pets. We offer gentle home visits, giving you and your companion privacy, comfort, and peace for their final moments in the comfort of your home or garden.

If you do require a home visit please speak with our reception team and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Three teeny voles we named Gus, Nico and Asier ❤️. These guys were bought in after being uncovered during building works. We always advise to leave young uninjured wildlife where you’ve found them as that is their best chance of survival, unfortunately that’s not always possible. Woodys wildlife rescue has kindly taken over their care this evening and hopefully will be able to release them back to the wild when they’re old enough! 🐭
