Barfive is to be found in a Grade 2 listed four storey Georgian town house in Main Street, Fishguard This year 2021 there is presently no food offer at Barfive.
Having opened for business in 2005, a recent refurbishment has included the installation of a large heated and covered balcony, looking down on to a spacious terrace and the magnificent Pembrokeshire coast line. The refurbishment has resulted in a pleasing eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional design with interesting touches of whimsy. It is in these superb surroundings that Barfive now off

A photo from Barfive of today’s visiting Cruise Ship. We open from 17.00hrs tomorrow (Thursday) and are looking forward to a busy Bank Holiday weekend with a highlight being the return of The Sun Dogs on the terrace from 16.00 hrs Sunday 29th August. The Barfive ‘Bloody Mary’s’ are being given a run for their popularity. Penrhos Gin (with Penbanc blueberries) are going down a storm. A fantastic gin which is proving to be exceptionally popular.

The weekend is almost upon us and we look forward to seeing you. We are reintroducing our Bloody Mary bar on Sundays. This was very popular in the past because of our unique set of ingredients which are hinted at in the photo below. We continue our well received table service with booking advised.

With the easing of COVID restrictions in Wales from 7th August, Barfive will, wherever possible, continue with table service. Our preference is to keep the bar area clear and for bookings to also continue. We think that this will make for a safer and more enjoyable experience for all those who wish to join us at Barfive.

Another gorgeous day with the views from Barfive being as lovely as ever. Open for thirst quenching drinks this afternoon, Friday and Saturday from 17.00hrs until close. Sunday sees the return of live music on the terrace.
Glorious weather in Fishguard at the moment and the forecast for Sunday shows it to be a nice day for The Sun Dogs who are performing live on our terrace from 16.30 hrs on Sunday 25 of July. COVID protocols are relaxed a little but we will still be providing table service.
