It was established in 1971 as the 14-20 Music and Drama Society and its aims, some 40 years later remain very much the same; to advance the education of children and young people in music and the performing arts and to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education and appreciation of music and the Performing Arts

It’s not long until our joyous 55th anniversary celebration at the Pavilion on 8th and 9th July

In 1991 we became Centre Stage, opening a brand‑new chapter with Pirates of Penzance — a show that has remained a firm favourite ever since, giving each new generation the chance to step into its iconic world.
