Footie season has arrived ⚽️
Today we played “How many words can you find?” We gathered together with refreshments and tried to find as many words as we could from “ World Cup Football Match” . What can i say, they smashed it. We even beat our previous score of 101 words. The grand total was an amazing 150 words 🥳 well done everyone 👏 💕

We all came together and celebrated King Charles' Birthday 🎂 We started with some traditional fish and chips for lunch followed by a royal photo shoot with lots of giggles and laughter practicing our royal waves, then our royal +big Friday quiz followed by a sing along as we enjoyed a royal cream tea. We had such a lovely time enjoying each other company, sharing and making new memories together 🤴 👑 🫅 🇬🇧

Today for World Ocean day 🌍 🌊we gathered together to watch ‘The Blue Planet II, we were amazed and fascinated by all the creatures that live in our oceans. This opened opportunities to talk about how we can protect our oceans and our environment. Then after lunch we got our senses going by bringing the beach inside. We explored some sand trays to find hidden shells, driftwood and pebbles, exploring different textures. This sparked many memories of visits to the beach , building sandcastles and shell collecting. Maureen also created a beautiful jelly fish inspired by a jelly fish she saw on The Blue Planet in the morning. 🪼

We created our own Epsom Derby 🐎this afternoon, with lots of laughter, concentration and healthy competition and a little mischievousness 🤣 . Followed by Sweet Caroline sing a long and mini doughnuts as a sweet treat 🍩 💕
