Why my son’s Xbox is currently a £400 paperweight.

Before I started Reboot Builds, my son was a total console gamer. He had the PS5, the Xbox—the lot. Two years ago, I built him his first custom PC. I didn't go overboard; I just built him a solid, honest "mid-range" machine.

The results were... unexpected:
