Although its a far departure from my normal blues numbers, it’s become the soundtrack to my biggest ride yet.

Next May, I’ll ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats — raising funds for Help for Heroes and also in his memory.

The song played at his final farewell, and now it’ll ride with me every mile.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted - and while this isn’t my usual blues-related update, it’s something I really wanted to share. 🎸

My new single “Step Away” is now a few days away from being available on streaming platforms. 🎧

I wrote this song years ago for my dad. When the time came for his final farewell, I re-recorded it - not as a goodbye, but as a thank-you.

This track has become a part of my story — a reminder that sometimes, “One choice prevents risk. The other creates freedom.”

As I prepare for my Lands End to John O’Groats charity motorcycles ride, I’m riding in his memory and raising funds for Help for Heroes, supporting veterans and their families.

So, I took home a third place at the Greene King Untapped event held recently at The Ship In Exeter, which I was pleasantly surprised by, so thank you to anyone who came along and listened, and voted.
