Today, we’re proud to stand with and our community to protest the EHRC guidance on bathroom bans. πŸͺ§

Pride is a protest and we will always advocate for equality.

A big shoutout to our wonderful committee members Annie for speaking at today’s protest, and Melissa for their incredible work with TPEx and organising the event.

Stay safe, EP x β€οΈπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

The new EHRC guidance breaks the Equality Act - Trans/non-binary and gender non-comforming people can be excluded from facilities and pushed out of daily life.
It will be law in 40 days - without any manifesto commitments, or even a single vote unless our MPs demand one NOW.
Join us in protest.

Sunday 31st May, 1-3pm. Bedford Square, Princesshay.

Image-description:
Poster detailing upcoming protest against the new EHCR guidance. It reads:
"Protest Labour's Bathroom Ban. Say no to segregation of trans people. Sunday 31st of May 2026 1 PM to 3 PM. Bedford Square, Princesshay EX1 1GJ. Hosted by Trans Pride Exeter www.TPEX.uk."

The body of the poster is a drawing of protest placards in pastel pink, blue, yellow and purple with various phrases including "30 year waiting lists", "spat on", "outed", "banned from toilets", "denied healthcare", "denied homes", "denied equal access", "denied employment", and "segregated". Other placards show a circle with a cross through. "
