Oh, hello. ππ

Thank you, Isle of Wight! That was a lot of fun and you were all incredible, thanks for showing up and accepting my absolute chaos. As I float towards home, sitting in the sun, I'm thinking over the whole of yesterday (which was hectic from start to finish) with a smile on my face. I'm strangely overly emotional at the moment, high in the sky one minute, eyes leaking the next, not in a concerning way, all is ok and it'll just be a phase, but the moments like this one, right now, seem to shine a little brighter in this emotional ping-pong match in having against myself, so even if it's short lived, I want to say, I'm appreciating this 5 minutes, and I cannot wait to get home and see the little human (and our son π ) Speaking of overly emotional, I saw a advert for McCain chips yesterday, where dad's were playing with their kids and I balled my eyes out, but in a strangely uplifting, not sad, way. π I have a story I want to tell about yesterday but I'll save that for later, I want to look at the sea instead of my phone for now. Love to all x

This... is a work of art and a thing of practical beauty π It is ALL of my equipment, plus loads of merch that I am able to move on my own, in one go! Usually, I need to make 3 journeys or borrow a couple of camels to shift it all this so this is a real game changer. I'm not EXACTLY sure of the weight... so whether it will last is another question π€ Also, i can strap it to my van ladder so it takes up no inside space π I can't believe I'm this excited by a trolley... but I am, and I'm ok with that. π
Think of a world with festivals... Actually, don't. That's sounds awful.
Who's IOW-ihg?
What a wonderful weekend of gigs. My first every ukulele festival filled with predominantly new, unsuspecting, faces, and Here for the Music at The Palladium Club, filled with many familiar and friendly faces. Both gigs were so different for me but I absolutely loved them both. It's always scary and exciting to play to a new audience as I'm never sure if it's going to be received well, thankfully, on Friday it was! 11 years ago, every gig was to a new audience, but now, with gigs like last night, it's such a wonderful reminder of how far I must have come, when I'm able to play to a room of people who I now know, after years of their support and encouragement. Thank you, whether you've been here from the start, or if you discovered me a few days ago and have decided to stick around, I can't do this without you. You are all allowing me to do something that lets me to make more sense of existence, which hasn't always been the case. It's also crazy to think that the next thing I'm doing will actually be the Isle of Wight Festivalπ€― I had my first taste of last year and I am over the moon to have been invited back for round 2. Life is crazyβ€οΈ
Thank you Tuke Fest! My first ever ukulele Festival and I absolutely loved it. I was so nervous before the gig, I was certain I was going to be too loud and sweary but you welcomed the chaos with open arms! Thanks you! β€οΈ Also... SO MANY UKULELES.π
Well, we've had a good run... If only someone had tried to warn us sooner... π

So excited to back at the Pally this weekend for what is set to be an absolute corker of a shindig. I'll be playing on the Sunday where it even finishes early to allow for the following week to not start with everyone hanging out of a-holes. Winner. Who's in?

I cannot believe that it's taken me 11 years to play at a Ukulele Festival but where better to start than Totnes! I will be playing as part of the Ukulele Cabaret alongside 4 other acts and there are minimal token things remaining. To get into the spirit of it all, I will be attempting to swap out piano and wompy bass noises etc for a night of looping entirely uke based things... which I'm sure won't go wrong at all! π
Every Wednesday, it's not absolutely hammering it down, Sulli and I go for a bike ride in the woods. It is always an absolute highlight of my week. I filmed the whole bike ride last week on my 360 camera so I can remember it forever. If I'm being honest, this video would be far better without the music and with the camera pointing the other way as Sulli is far cooler and more entertaining than me, but you'll just have to take my word for it. Hope everyone is as well as can be x
