I love this beautiful new Terracotta colour coatigan (thank you for the fabulousboiled wool) but the dilemma is does it stay on my rail or do I keep it? Tough one ... and I already have 6 so there is an argument that I definitely don't need more BUT ......... !

The lovely Julie looking stunning in her sapphire boiled wool coatigan bought as Christmas surprise by her partner. I made it longer than standard length as she's tall.

Sadly I have a funeral to attend this week but nothing suitable to wear. I thought the new Holly dress from might be perfect along with this lovely ponte fabric from . I'm really pleased with the end result. It's a relatively easy sew especially with the stability of the ponte fabric.

It's rare that I get a chance to make something for myself but I've been hankering after making a Mallard coat like this for a while. I happened across this lush brocade fabric in in Totnes and knew it was the one. I went on a sewing retreat recently run by and with lots of patience and guidance from Yvonne, the coat has been created. I love it!
