The new Chery Showroom in Marsh Barton, Exeter is finished ✅
Marsh Barton is home for us, so seeing a project like this come together so close to base means a bit extra.
Next up, just next door: the new Lepas Car Showroom.
Numatic International in Chard is a new development expansion, taking over the former Oscar Mayer site within the Millfield Industrial Estate 🏭
progressive was appointed by CG Fry & Son to deliver the full roofing and cladding package. The development will include 4 phases; with phase 1 & 2 now been completed, as seen in the video.
The new building includes 6,000 sq m of warehouse space for Numatic's products (yes, including the iconic Henry and Hetty vacuum cleaners🧹), alongside an injection moulding plant, assembly line area, and raw materials storage.
Can't wait to share the finished project with you once all four phases are wrapped up!

Huge congratulations to Holly Gould 🎉
Holly has officially completed her End-Point Assessment for her L3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship with Chartered Management Institute and she smashed it!
Not only did she pass, but Holly achieved Distinction in both her Portfolio-based Interview and Project Presentation. That's not luck. That's hard work, dedication, and the kind of commitment that makes progressive the team it is.
We couldn't be prouder. Well done, Holly 👏

progressive is delivering the roofing and cladding package for at the new Airfield Primary Academy in Weston-super-Mare.
Built on the former Weston Airfield site, the new school will provide 21 classrooms alongside a 103 place nursery, creating a modern learning environment for the local community ahead of opening this September.

Great West Run 2026 🏃
A huge well done to Andy Smith, Brad Steer and Ryan Cartlidge, who all completed the Half Marathon at the Great West Run on Sunday.
An incredible achievement by all three, especially in the hot conditions on the day 🥵
Events like this take a huge amount of commitment, both physically and mentally, and everyone at progressive is proud to see members of the team pushing themselves outside of work and supporting great causes along the way ❤️

This morning, we dropped a couple of prizes over to to support their silent auction as part of their 80th year celebrations 🎉
The auction is raising funds for , helping support the incredible work they do across health, education, wellbeing, and opportunities within the local community.
Good causes deserve support and we are pleased to play a small part.

Working alongside , progressive delivered the full roofing and cladding package for the new Liskeard Hub, with works starting in July 2024 ahead of the building opening this spring.
Built on the former Liskeard Cattle Market site, the hub brings a range of key public services together in one central location.
The building includes the Family Hub, Registrars, Adult Education, Safe and Wellbeing services, and the Department for Work and Pensions, creating a space designed to better support the local community.
Designed to meet CarbonLite standards, the project places a strong focus on reducing embodied carbon while improving long term energy efficiency.

Mental Health Awareness Week is a good reminder that looking after people matters just as much as getting the job done.
Construction can be a tough environment at times.
Long days. Pressure. Deadlines. Responsibility. Early mornings. Problems to solve.
A lot of people are good at just getting on with it, but that does not always mean everything is okay.
Sometimes a quick conversation, checking in with someone, or simply asking “how are things?” can make more difference than people realise.
