Thank you all for a brilliant night of prayer and praise. I know I was really challenged by Rachel’s big question for us tonight: Jesus is ALIVE... so what? Through him we don’t have to worry, we don’t have to earn happiness, we don’t have to fight to survive - through him we are saved, we are redeemed, we are special! Go and be special; go and live in your freedom and grace gifted to you by the living God!

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed. The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head. The stars in the night sky looked down where he lay, the little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay.

And it’s this time of year we celebrate that arrival! Not long to go now...

Hard times can break us down. They can seem unstoppable and never ending - but ultimately they are the time for growth. God guides us through difficulty, challenging us to help strength our characters.

You call me out upon the waters.

You’re my inheritance now and always.

I know who goes before me, I know who comes behind. The God of angel armies, is always by my side.
