Been working on a fun project recently ✨️

My lovely client requested peacock butterflies as the centrepiece — which couldnt have been more perfectly suited! 🦋 Here's one of them ✨️

Made with powders & enamel

This was a super special commission from a couple of years ago now, for the excellent and very talented
From a very dear and super special friend ✨️🖤

Based on Tash's excellent toad!

The green and pink stash I had seemed to work perfectly 👌

Made with bullseye powders, enamel, warm and antique glass.

Been a bit quiet on here of recent I've realised!

Now that spring is well and truly out and the hibernation is over, the longer days at the studio are feeling soo nice ☺️

Recently I've been working on some new powder paintings- following some long experimenting (and making my own sifters by hand!) im super pleased with the progress ✨️ 👁

This is an early snippet (it had 5 firings?) more pics and process to come soon.
.. cant wait to make more powder ladies!

Aaaaand, its mid January.. Just like that! Whaaaaa'?

Looking back on 2025, im feeling super greatful for all the lovely makers and crafters I've met, some blooming great hoomans!
And I also want to give a big thanks to all the lovely organisers and people behind the scenes who put on such fab events - the craft fairs, pop ups, festivals - thanks for having me last year!

Looking forward to what 2026 brings ✨️
And making more work!

As usual, been terrible at posting. But I've been busy beavering away in the background, making lots of things for the 3 festive craft fairs I have coming up, and a lovely slot in a pop-up shop collaboration!
More details on all of these coming soon.

But I did recently tootle off for a lovely wee trundle to the VERY beautiful city of Porto! 🍷

And of course I had to find some glass to oogle over! 👁✨️

This beautiful set of stained glass art deco wonderness, was in a McDonalds, of all places! The most beautiful McDonalds I've ever stepped my giant feet into 😱

The wonderful building used to be a 1930s traditional coffee shop, and after being shut for many years, the new management kept lots of the original details and craftsmanship, including this beautiful panel set showing the journey of coffee! By the very talented Ricardo Leone studio.

I just love the details added by the textures of the glass choices. Each piece creating definition and movement. And just look at the steam line coming off the coffee 👌

If you are ever in Porto, it's a beautiful piece to visit. Take a seat and just stare at it ☺️
